Need an Ebook?

Coming from a service engineer background where precise manufacturer installation and servicing information was vital in order to properly maintain equipment, I recently found myself with a need for a manual for a Gas Boiler I was asked to take a look at.  A general internet search didn't find what I was looking for so I investigated other options.  I had heard of a site called eBookXp through a work colleague, he told me it has a massive searchable database of manufacturer’s and original author e-books and, installation and servicing manuals.  I gave it a go and found the servicing manual I was looking for no problem in pdf format.  This gave me all the information I needed to complete the job.

I had a further delve around the site while I was there and found that you can also subscribe to various free magazines, delivered to you only at your request.

Also, if you use the likes of Twitter where you feel you have a long point to make but don’t have enough space to do so, you can deposit your text here and it will automatically generate a shorter URL so you can link to your original long-form text in the form of http://www.ebookxp.com/bin/xxxxxx . I use Twitter a lot and this sort of tool is invaluable.  You should take a look. http://www.ebookxp.com/
